Order, Delivery & Taxes

In these Terms of Service:

  • Delivery Address means the address to which Goods are to be delivered, as set out on the Order Confirmation Page;
  • Delivery Fee means a fee for the delivery of the Goods to you as set out on the Order Confirmation Page;
  • Order means an order for Goods made on a MARAIS Sale Platform and in accordance with these Terms of Service;
  • Order Confirmation Page means the web page that sets out the details of your Order, including the Goods, Price and Delivery Address; and
  • Price means the purchase price for Goods as specified on the Order Confirmation Page, including applicable GST.





By placing an Order via a MARAIS Sale Platform, you are offering to purchase Goods on, and subject to, these Terms of Service. You may place an Order using your account or anonymously as a guest.


When you place an Order, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your Order. This email does not constitute acceptance of your Order. A contract between you and MARAIS for the purchase of the Goods will not be formed until your Order has been approved by MARAIS and we have received payment for the Goods in full.


MARAIS does not warrant that any of the Goods displayed on the MARAIS Sale Platform will always be available. All Orders are subject to the availability of the relevant Goods. If MARAIS is unable to complete your Order due to insufficient supply of the Goods you have ordered or any other reason, you will receive a refund of any money paid.


We may withdraw or suspend from sale any Goods displayed on MARAIS Sale Platform, either temporarily or permanently, at any time. MARAIS will not be liable to you for any loss you or any third party suffer as a result of a withdrawal or suspension of sale of particular Goods. Where Goods the subject of an Order have been withdrawn or suspended from sale and your payment for the Goods has already been processed, we will refund any money paid to us for the Goods.


When you place an order, MARAIS will charge you and you agree to pay the Price and any applicable Delivery Fee. All prices are in Australian dollars and, if GST applies, Prices are inclusive of GST.





Any payment for an Order must be cleared by MARAIS before Goods are dispatched. If your payment cannot be processed, your Order will not be accepted.


We accept payment for Goods by Mastercard, Visa (Debit and Credit), American Express, JCB and Discover on all MARAIS Sale Platforms and as otherwise notified from time to time.


If we allow you to use a third-party payment provider to make payments to us, you may need to enter into a separate, legally binding agreement, with that payment provider. We accept no responsibility for the service provided by those third-party payment providers.


If we cannot contact you about your Order using the contact details you provided in the Order, or we have contacted you about your order and you have not responded within 3 business days, we will cancel your Order and refund any money paid.


Risk in the Goods passes to you when the Goods are delivered to the Delivery Address. Title in the Goods passes to you on receipt by MARAIS of the Price in full for the Goods.


Unless provided for under these Terms of Service or as otherwise agreed by MARAIS in writing, no cancellations or changes to Orders will be accepted, and the Goods will be delivered to the Delivery Address in your Order. You should carefully check the Order Confirmation Page before you submit your Order.


All Goods will be delivered in accordance with our Shipping Policy.


From time to time MARAIS will undertake special offers and/or promotions. Separate terms and conditions may apply to Goods sold as part of a promotion or offer.


You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made on a MARAIS Sale Platform. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. 


MARIAS may in its sole discretion make certain Goods available exclusively online through one or more of the MARAIS Sale Platforms (and not in Store).


Goods for sale on a MARAIS Sale Platform may only be available in limited quantities. MARAIS does not warrant the availability of any Goods advertised for sale on a MARAIS Sale Platform.  


We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our Goods that are advertised for sale on MARAIS Sale Platform however we do no guarantee the accuracy of our images or advertising material on any MARAIS Sale Platform.


We reserve the right to limit the sales of our Goods to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.


We reserve the right to refuse any Order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an Order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail provided at the time the Order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole discretion, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. 





Simply go to "shopping cart" and enter your Gift Card code/promotion code in the designated field. If the order amount exceeds the balance on your Gift Card or the amount from the promotion, please select the payment method with which you wish to cover the remaining amount. 

Marais reserves the right to block the Gift Card if misused. 





MARAIS reserve the right, at our discretion, to refuse to deliver Goods ordered on a MARAIS Sale Platform to a specific destination for any reason.


The Order Confirmation Page will display an estimated delivery time for the Goods, however delivery times may vary according to availability and delays caused by postal services or any other events which is outside of MARAIS’s control. MARAIS is not liable to you for any delay in the delivery of Goods from that initially conveyed to you.


We may provide order tracking functionality depending on the shipping partner we use to deliver your Goods.





You are solely liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied in respect of the Goods by the shipping destination and payment of these amounts is required to release your order from customs on arrival.


We do not refund prepaid taxes and duties paid at the time of checkout. 





All orders are shipped worldwide via our courier partner TNT/FedEx Express. We process and Send all orders during our main service hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am till 3:00 pm AEDT (with the exception of Australian Public Holidays). 






  • Domestic Orders valued at $300 and under will be charged $20 Flat Rate Express Shipping Fee.
  • Domestic Orders of over $300 qualify for Free Express Shipping.


  • All International Orders will be charged $50 Flat Rate Express Shipping Fee. 


Our delivery partner operates on Weekdays excluding Public Holidays. Public holiday orders will be shipped by the next business day.


We will endeavour to ship your order within 24 hours, however, we do not guarantee no delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as COVID-19.


Please note that purchases will be dispatched upon credit card authorisation and verification.

As soon as we have shipped your order you will receive an email stating the TNT tracking number. You can check the status of your order one to two hours after receiving the email via the link provided.





Our complimentary ‘Click and Collect’ service is available 5 weekdays from 12pm to 3pm by APPOINTMENT ONLY across ALL Marais Group Victorian stores, including Marais Men, Marais Women, Givenchy Chadstone, Off White Melbourne in the duration of stage 4 lockdown restrictions.


Simply make a purchase through our digital and social channels, and our sales associate will book an appointment with you to arrange collection in our stores. The appointment time to collect will be shown on your receipt should you require to be verified.


To collect your purchase, simply present your receipt or email confirmation in store along with a valid photo ID and the card you purchased with.


Please note that purchases will be dispatched upon credit card authorisation and verification.
