Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren are fashion designers who have worked together as Viktor & Rolf since 1993. They met while studying fashion at the Arnhem art academy. After graduating, they move to Paris interning for brand such as Maison Martin Margiela.

In 1998, Viktor & Rolf put an unauthorized underground fashion show during Paris Fashion Week designed to attracted members of the press. The Menswear ‘Monsieur’ was follow over after the next five years.  Characteristics of their clothes include layering, distorting, exaggerating and repeating of classical design elements. Viktor & Rolf have gained attention for their artistic, concept-driven catwalk presentations.

Viktor & Rolf was awarded ‘Fashion and Design Honorees’ International Fashion Group 19th Annual Night of the Stars, New York in 2002.
